Our Kittens
Our kittens are not ready for collection until they are at least 15 weeks old. All of our kittens are fully vaccinated against Cat Flu and Enteritis, and their vaccinations are normally completed at least three weeks before collection. In addition, our kittens are wormed, GCCF registered, and insured for four weeks, from the date of sale. Our kittens also receive a full health check at nine and twelve weeks of age, carried out by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, and again when they are spayed or neutered prior to leaving us.
Our kittens are reared in the home, and are well socialised, growing up with children and dogs, and all the usual household sounds. In our experience, this makes for a well adjusted friendly kitten.
It is our pleasure to provide our kitten's new owner(s) with as much information as we can, to help ease the transition period, when the kitten is settling into his/her new home. A diet sheet is always provided, together with samples of the food which have been fed to the kitten. It is essential that the diet sheet be followed to the letter, otherwise problems may occur.
Our kittens come with lifelong support. We are always available for any advice or to help with any problem, no matter how small. In particular, we would like to be kept informed of your kitten's progress, as we love to see how our curly babies grow up!
It is a common belief that Devon Rex are readily tolerated by those with an allergy to cats. This is not always true, therefore we do not sell our kittens on the basis that they will not cause an allergic reaction. We cannot guarantee this, and we feel that it is not in our kitten's best interests to let them go to a home where there is a chance that they will be quickly returned, because we feel that this is very traumatic for all concerned. As we are not a rex only household, it is not an option for purchasers to visit solely to gauge reaction.
